Exotics are a relatively new breed, they meet Persian standards in every way, they are so laid back they have the same characteristics, temperament, looks etc as the Persian but you just don't have the hard work of the long coat, they do need a small amount of grooming as they have a very thick plush coat making them look like Teddy Bears, giving you the best of two worlds, Exotics seem to take a long time to mature and even at a few year old will still think they are kittens,

The Exotic would make a wonderful addition to any family, as to what to look  for when looking for a kitten, health etc they are exactly as Persians ( see Persian page )

I have been breeding Exotics in the Tabby colours but as from 2007 it will be mainly Smoke,  Self,  Bi-Colour + Smoke & White as I do the long hairs.
